Removal of hazardous paints & coatings

Details

Hazardous materials included PCB’s and Inorganic Zinc from the entire High Bay 3 inside the VAB. We designed and developed a specialized Spyder basket system that allowed our workers to access the steel beam from the ground floor all the way to the highest elevation at 500 feet in the air (but still inside the building). Our scope also included selective demolition of building systems to allow the new construction of the modular platforms and the SLS rocket system.
