Demolition and removal of two 9-story hospital buildings

Details

The project called for additional elements:

• Demolition and backfill of the basement and tunnel system located under the structures

• Modifications to the stormwater drainage piping and asphalt parking lots

The unique location of these buildings allowed for a basement to be built underneath the hospital.

Special Notes

Once the demolition was complete, Pece Of Mind crushed 20,000 tons of the concrete waste and imported 40,000 CY of clean fill into the site.
